RS MINECRAFT IS A PRIVALEGE! DON'T ABUSE IT!
[0] Do not scream or shout at other players! If you feel like yelling/screaming at another player, log off and talk calmly to an adult instead!
If an adult tells you to stop yelling/shouting/screaming for any reason, you must stop immediately! Failure to do so will get you BANNED FOR A LONG LONG TIME!
If you are being griefed and/or bullied and an adult asks you to log off, YOU MUST LOG OFF IMMEDIATELY and not scream at the other person or the adult!
Joe will deal with serious problems. Joe will ban offenders for a fair length of time. Joe will always listen to both sides of the story.
Remember it's just a game!
[1] Use Non-Violent-Communication (NVC) ! BE RESPECTFUL!
[2] THIS MEANS NO name-calling, NO bullying, NO being mean!
If you are being bullied, DON'T BULLY BACK! TALK TO AN ADULT and/or LOG OFF! Joe will check the logs.
[3] NO GRIEFING! NO GRIEFING! NO GRIEFING! NO GRIEFING back at anyone! When in doubt, ASK FIRST!
If you grief by accident, OR IF A CREEPER FOLLOWS YOU AND EXPLODES CAUSING DAMAGE, APOLOGIZE, and offer to FIX THE DAMAGE! If no one is around and you can't fix it, THEN LEAVE A SIGN WITH AN APOLOGY!
IF YOU AREN'T SURE A BUILDING IS NATURALLY GENERATED OR NOT, DON'T GRIEF IT!
[4] IF SOMEONE TELLS YOU TO STOP doing something, THEN STOP what you are doing! If you don't know what you are doing wrong, STOP your character, and THEN ask for a reason.
[5] If someone asks you to leave their building, then LEAVE THEIR BUILDING! If you dispute the request, DON'T STAY IN THE BUILDING AND ARGUE! LEAVE FIRST, and then either work it out or wait for an adult to help you.
[6] LISTEN TO ADULTS, they know best.
FAILURE TO LISTEN TO SOMEONE'S REQUEST TO STOP CAN AND WILL BE USED TO BAN YOU! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
[7] No swearing, cussing, or otherwise inappropriate language, please. This is an all-ages server!
[8] NO STEALING each other's items!
[9] Non-player character traps ONLY. CLEARLY mark them.
[10] If you feel there is a problem type /help contact or see bottom paragraph on this page.
[11] PLEASE NO CLIENT CHEATS!
[12] JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE'S BUILDING ISN'T PROTECTED, DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN GRIEF IT! DON'T! ASK FIRST or get banned! IF YOU CAN'T ASK, THEN WAIT AND/OR LEAVE IT ALONE!
[13] If you are accused of griefing, and you don't know what you griefed, APOLOGIZE AND CALMLY ASK WHAT YOU DID WRONG! Offer fixing or compensation.
IF YOU FEEL YOU ARE WRONGLY ACCUSED OF GRIEFING, USE NVC and see above rule #13.
[14] If you see someone griefing, USE NVC, and ASK NICELY for them to stop. (say please)
If they won't stop, talk to adult, type /help contact for more advice, wait for Joe to deal with it, or see bottom of this page.
[15] Clean up excess minecarts on the track. Only leave one minecart on the track per station or starting point. Please put excess minecarts in a chest at the station. Thanks.
[16] This is a non-pvp server. ANY ATTEMPTS TO HURT ANOTHER PLAYER OR TO SEE IF SOMETHING WILL HURT ANOTHER PLAYER will result in a ban.
[17] DO NOT BUILD on top of another player's building!
[18] Shared buildings are STRONGLY DISCOURAGED! BEWARE that anything shared can be taken and used by the other person(s)!
Public roads and other public structures are ok to add to, but DON'T GRIEF AND DON'T BLOCK PATHS! When in doubt ASK FIRST!
DO NOT CLAIM BUILT AREAS THAT ARE NOT YOURS. DO NOT LOCK CHESTS/FURNACES THAT AREN'T YOURS!
DON'T TAKE EVERYTHING FROM A PUBLIC CHEST! LEAVE SOME FOR THE NEXT PERSON!
Make sure to CLEARLY LABEL structures that may be mistaken for a naturally generated building.
You can have shared claims and privately shared chests, AS LONG AS THERE IS NO ARGUING OVER THEM!
Don't kill villagers! Other players may want to trade with them!
Don't kill any more sheep than you need to. Other players may want their wool also.
Make sure you understand clearly all the rules. Ask someone to help explain if necessary.
I will be less tolerent of troublemakers this year. I will be much less afraid of banning people who are causing problems, although most bans will be temporary.
Repeating troublemakers will be banned for a longer time.

Advice is given below. Rules are given above.
Be wary of creating privately shared areas/buildings/chests. There's always a risk of shared items not being returned. Lock up stuff that's yours and you don't want shared.
It is *OK* to use dynmap to look for/at caves.
All chat is logged. Block and object placement, interaction and removal is logged also.
/tp command is turned off. use /tpa command instead
Don't bug/spam people with /tpa requests. It is meant as a convenience to teleport to teammates, not as a reliable way to bail out of difficult situations.
